Prince George’s County Public Awareness and Civic Engagement Campaigns

Developed brand identities and multi-channel marketing campaigns supporting countywide civic engagement initiatives, including beautification, voting awareness, and public service programs.

Challenge
Prince George’s County needed cohesive, accessible marketing materials to encourage civic participation and increase awareness of key public programs. Campaigns had to resonate with diverse local audiences and function across physical, digital, and community environments, while maintaining clear and consistent county branding.

Approach
As part of a design team, I contributed to the county’s beautification and anti-littering initiative, creating a campaign logo and developing marketing collateral including mall environmental graphics, postcards, social media assets, Snapchat filters, and partnership toolkits for local organizations. I independently led design for the Board of Elections voting awareness campaign, producing bilingual flyers, social media graphics, web banners, and profile overlays to improve accessibility and reach. I also designed the logos and logo guidelines for PGC 311 and PGC On The Go programs, establishing scalable identity systems for ongoing use.

Outcome
These campaigns helped strengthen public awareness and engagement by creating clear, recognizable visual systems across digital platforms, community spaces, and county communications, supporting broader outreach and participation efforts.
