Hello, there!
My name is Chanda Kumar Vuong, and I’m a Baltimore-based Communications Specialist and Senior Designer at LMD Agency.
With dual degrees in graphic design and journalism and over 10 years of professional experience, I bring together strong visual storytelling and clear, purposeful messaging. My work sits at the intersection of creative strategy, thoughtful execution, and marketing performance.
I’ve collaborated with higher education institutions, national organizations, and commercial brands to develop cohesive brand systems, marketing campaigns, and digital experiences. In my current role, I oversee a high volume of marketing campaigns and creative production across the country, providing art direction, managing workflows, and ensuring deliverables meet both strategic and operational goals.
Beyond client work, I lead internal initiatives that strengthen operations and culture. After implementing and training staff on a new agency-wide project management system, I turned my focus to Corporate Social Responsibility efforts—organizing school supply drives, blood drives, and awareness campaigns for World Water Day, Wear Red Day, and Diabetes Awareness Month.
I leveraged my creative skill set to design compelling social media content and internal campaign graphics that increased visibility and participation across the agency. As a result, one school supply drive alone generated over $1,000 in donated supplies for students and teachers in underserved communities.
I also volunteered with the Baltimore chapter of AIGA, where I served as DEI Chair for two years, leading programming and community initiatives focused on expanding representation and dialogue within the design community.
Much of my inspiration comes from the cultural and social impact of design. I’m passionate about creating work that is clear, inclusive, and genuinely useful — design that functions as beautifully as it looks.
Outside of work, you can find me with a cold brew in hand, watching a Bollywood movie, listening to K-pop or a True Crime podcast, or deep in a DIY crafting project.
